This privacy policy explains how koenemann.com Hu Kft., H-1021 Budapest, Budenz út 1 (hereinafter “koenemann”) uses personal data generated by your use of the App. Should you have any further questions or suggestions, please send an e-mail to: privacy-policy@musicapiano.com
koenemann collects, processes and uses your data for only as long as legislation allows, in particular, insofar as it is necessary for rationale, contextual configuration or change of services to enable you to use the App or insofar as you have consented to the use of your data.
In detail:
1. Collection of data
koenemann collects and saves the following data of your use of MUSICA PIANO and the services (hereinafter “Services”) offered in it:
Inventory data
In case of registration: email, surname, first name, street, ZIP code, city, country, username, password. Depending on the services you take advantage of it may be necessary to collect further data, e.g. information on the subscription service that you subscribe to. Additionally you can opt in to save a profile picture for some services and publicly display this profile for other users.
Usage data
koenemann logs and traces specific information while you use the App, e.g. your interaction with the App. This comprises, for example, which scores, Syntunes and videos you have accessed or printed and to what extent. Furthermore, your IP-address, your geographical location (provided you allowed or activated this function) or technical information regarding your mobile device will be stored.
User’s own content
Provided you have subscribed to a Premium Version of the app, koenemann also stores user generated content, e.g. recordings or My Repertoire data.
You decide yourself, which user generated content will be accessible and displayed to other users.
2. Processing and use of data
koenemann processes and uses the data for these purposes:
- rationale, contextual configuration or change of services;
- user registration required for the use of certain services;
- contact, where this is necessary for the delivery of services (e.g. for support requests);
- dispatch of newsletters, contact for advertising purposes or survey participations, provided this is legally permitted or you have explicitly agreed to it;
- contact for the purpose of participation in competitions, provided this is legally permitted or or you have explicitly agreed to it; detailed information for a competition may result from particular eligibility requirements;
- creation of pseudonymized usage profiles (e.g. start and end of App or downloaded scores) for advertising, market research and appropriate App usage purposes, provided you do not object to this data usage;
- evaluation of anonymous LogFile records in order to, for example, improve the App, the user friendliness or to assure the technical functionality.
3. Use of cookies
A cookie is a token or short packet of data that, for example, will be transferred to your smartphone in order to recognize the device. It will use this data, for example, to personalize and improve services, to display (advertising) content that is specifically tailored to your interests, to conduct research and diagnoses to improve content, products, goods and services and to prevent fraud attempts or improve the App’s security.
Almost all browsers allow entirely blocking of cookies, for removal of already existing cookies or for warnings in order to prevent cookies being placed on your device. Further information is available in the documentation or the help files of your browser. Please note that the blocking of cookies can impair the use of the services.
4. Declaration of consent/ rights of objection
If you have explicitly expressed or explicitly express your consent to collecting, processing or use of your data, you can revoke your compliance at any time with this being effective for the future.
Moreover, you can object to the usage of your data for advertising purposes or in pseudonymized usage profiles for advertising, market research and appropriate App usage purposes without incurring costs above the applicable base rates.
In all cases, an email to privacy-policy@musicapiano.com will suffice.
5. Disclosure of information
koenemann categorically does not pass on data to third parties, but uses the data for own purposes.
If koenemann uses content from third parties, for example, for advertising purposes, koenemann passes on only anonymous usage data for the purposes of accounting of services performed.
6. Duration of information storage
koenemann stores data only as long as necessary for the fulfillment of the purposes for which the data was collected or for an exceptional and permissible purpose modification and subsequent need for this data to be stored in order to fulfill the modified purpose.
Data no longer required will be immediately deleted, provided you did not agree to further storage or statutory or legal duties to preserve records constitute an obstacle.
In this latter case, data will be suspended for all purposes other than storage and will be deleted after the respective period of retention.
7. Security
If you register for the purposes of using the App, you must create a safe password in order to secure your user account. This should be unique, not being used for multiple services or networks. Furthermore, the password should not be related to you and comprise upper case, lower case and special characters. koenemann has, of course, made the appropriate arrangements to secure your data. However, please note, that complete data integrity cannot be guaranteed.
8. Links
koenemann occasionally displays advertisements or other content which include links to websites of third parties. These third parties are autonomously responsible for handling your data. Please get details from the privacy policies of the respective third parties.
9. Use of Google Analytics (solely on musicapiano.com)
musicapiano.com uses Google Analytics, a web analyzing service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, text files, that are stored on your computer and that allow for an analysis of the usage of the website. The information gathered from the cookie about your usage of the website (including your IP-address) will be submitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
On this website the IP-anonymization is activated. This means your IP-address will be abbreviated by Google within the member countries of the European Union or in other states of the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP-address be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and then abbreviated there. Google will use this information on behalf of koenemann in order to evaluate your use of the website, to compile website activity reports and to perform further services for us regarding the use of the website and the internet. The IP-address that is being submitted by your browser to conduct the Google Analytics service will not be merged with any other data by Google.
You can prevent the storage of cookies with corresponding settings in your browser; however, we would like you to note that not all functions of the website may be available in that case. Additionally, you can prevent Google from collecting, transferring and processing your website usage related data (including your IP-address) – generated by the cookie – by downloading and installing a browser plugin, available here: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
10. Disclosure, alteration or deletion of data
You are entitled to request information about your data stored by koenemann at any time. In addition, you are entitled to demand correction, deletion or blocking of incomplete, incorrect or illegitimately processed data. Please refer relevant requests to: privacy-policy@musicapiano.com
11. Alterations of this privacy policy
koenemann reserves the right to occasionally alter this privacy policy (e.g. due to amendments or new features). Please review this privacy policy on a regular basis.
